Supportive dietary guidance and practical habit education for people managing fatty liver, heart health, bone and joint health, or diabetes and blood-sugar concerns — alongside your existing clinical care.
If you live with fatty liver, heart disease, osteoarthritis or diabetes, food is genuinely powerful — and genuinely only one part of your care. Medications, monitoring and your treating clinicians' judgement do work no meal can. Slim & Strong's role here is supportive: practical dietary guidance and habit education that works with your treatment plan, in plain language, with clear limits.
Diagnoses, medications, clinician advice, allergies and routines matter because they change what sensible eating means in practice. Someone on blood thinners has different greens-consistency considerations; someone managing diabetes with medication has different meal-timing stakes; kidney involvement may bring fluid or mineral considerations that belong entirely with a nephrologist. That is why the enquiry asks about conditions — and why you will never be asked to change any medication. Those decisions belong to the prescriber, full stop.
This category covers four confirmed education topics, each with its own page:
Used well, it helps you build the daily patterns clinicians recommend: consistent meals, better vegetable and fibre intake, sensible portions of familiar foods, fewer liquid calories, practical approaches to eating out, and routines that survive busy weeks. It also helps you prepare better questions for your own clinicians. Much of this is unglamorous — precisely why it works.
It cannot diagnose, interpret scans or labs, reverse fatty liver on a schedule, cure diabetes, close joint gaps, replace prescribed heart treatment, or adjust any medication including insulin. It cannot promise that two people with the same diagnosis need identical restrictions — they often don't. And it cannot provide emergency care, ever. The medical disclaimer states the limits plainly.
Good nutrition support asks what your clinicians have advised and builds around it — reinforcing, not contradicting. If anything ever seems to conflict, ask your clinician directly rather than choosing between authorities. Medical documents are never requested through the public form; if a secure intake is appropriate, it is arranged properly after initial contact.
Circumstances change — new medications, a hospitalization, a move. Guidance adapts in general terms: patterns flex, restrictions are incorporated, goals recalibrated. This website claims no specific monitoring arrangement, follow-up cadence or lab-tracking service; those are confirmed directly during your enquiry. The most useful goal is usually behavioural: what you will eat, when, and how consistently.
What food patterns matter most for my situation, in plain words? How do my medications interact with meal timing or specific foods? What should I ask my own clinician? Which changes give the most benefit for the least disruption? What does progress realistically look like for me?
The form asks for name and phone only. Everything else is optional: conditions ('None' and 'Prefer not to say' both respected), weights, free text. Health fields are encrypted and administrative views logged. No reports, IDs or prescriptions at this stage.
This website is not an emergency service or diagnostic tool. For urgent symptoms, contact local medical services. When ready: send the medical nutrition enquiry.
